Q: Why does the Facebook signup need my friends list?
A: We don't really know why and wish Facebook did not provide your friends list, but no matter, we neither use nor store the information. Partly we just wouldn't do that, and partly the reputation of Voices of Humanity is at stake.

Q: My message has only one rating, but the summary shows decimal values. How can that be?
A: Regression to the mean is applied when comparing your message ratings to those of other messages. If your message has only a few ratings, then average ratings are included in the calculation of "value" for your message. This is done to make sure a message doesn't "win" by having just a few votes with the highest ratings.
