Dear Mr. Secretary General,
I am concerned about the world that the youth of today are growing into. Our governments and media bombard us with messages of the paramount importance of material wealth and capitalism to attain fulfillment. The youth of my generation are coming to age in this world and they are torn. There is a desperate need and longing for community, for support, for trustworthy and honest governments. This phenomenon crosses borders between the first-world and third-world. It is a global restlessness that is culminating in protests and revolutions around the world. The youth of today are armed with information and technology, and they are no longer willing to turn a blind eye to the issues. It is time that the nations of the world come together to address this restlessness, this lack of fair distribution, and happiness within their own borders.
