I'm the programmer of this software. But it is the vision of Roger Eaton. It is a very ambitious vision, and, I must admit, despite being the programmer, I'm unsure of whether it even can work.
The idea is that by posting and rating messages here, we can find a collective voice.
Each person might have a certain profile with a certain demographic. Our gender, our age, the country we're from, where we live, etc. We might be a member of one or more groups. Some of those groups might participate in a common discussion. We can add up the stats for any of those demographic categories and groups, and thus see what is the preference of women in a particular discussion. Or men, or old people, or young people, etc. In principle.
Is that going to work? Is the rating and tabulation of postings enough? I don't know.
