Thanks for the support, Shirley. You will be interested to learn that we have three interns lined up for the fall from the SFSU International Relations department . They will be doing outreach to UNAs world wide in order to promote participation in our "Send a Message to Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuga" exercise for IWD 2014. The plan is to send two messages, one from the participating women and one from the men.
UNA-SF now has its entire membership in a UNA-SF InterMix group. As we go along, please consider bringing in Silicon Valley UNA as its own group. You have a choice of being open or private, but even if you go the private route, the SVUNA can still join in public discussions. In that case, messages posted in the public discussion also show up in the group, but messages posted in the group remain private.
