Create a strategic action list of the most critical issue the receivers should address, get member (CIA) ratings, send visual map of results showing the issue members rate as most likely to fail without benefit of ourside intervention.
CIA (Challenge, Importance, Ability) analysis uses individual perceptual mapping to arrive at the juncture of tension for achieving an outcome without the likelihood of outside intervention. Not enough tension, diffuse effort, lack of engagement, increasing potential and cost for failure. Too much tension, intellectual and emotional overwhelm, perceptual errors, poor planning, bad decisions, growing expense, failure.
Each critical issue responded to in a CIA analysis matches one of 169 grid coordinate locations where the information contained at topographically adjacent edges varies by degrees of meaning within descriptive lists. People can agree or disagree on how they describe an issue, but the nearer they move together the closer they come to agreement and the rationale is in symantic differentials, reducing points of conflict and focusing discussion on results.
Easy to learn and understand, the system is adaptable across the range of human invovlement and outcome objectives. Especially beneficial as a strategic change management tool and as a personal and professional development instrument with both diagnostic and prescriptive ability.
