I think this is a great idea, and with a couple provisos, I will be happy if we decide to go this direction. For one thing, I'd like to finish up the group capabilities that I have promised to UNA-SF and The Wallenberg: privacy/moderation controls, sub-group capabilities and mailing-list enhancements.
Also, it would be important to keep the dual level group/discussion structure including the decision period facility. What currently distinguishes InterMix is the ability to combine groups in a discussion and then to have a decision period where we get structured results for the six voices of humanity. We would not have to stress this angle but without the collective voice aspect, I think we lose the whole purpose of the project, which is to create a collective voice for humanity, and at the same time for women and men and the three ages.
I'd be OK with allowing people to sign up as individuals - we could put them in an "Unaffiliated" group automatically if they do not specify an existing group.
What do we call this direction? "Zoom!" perhaps? Any ideas, anyone?
