The menu on the left used to have three items that were confused with each other: Forum, Discussions and Groups.
"Forum" has been renamed "List" and removed from the left hand menu if we are already at a group or discussion.
In InterMix, the Discussions button only shows the discussions that the current group has joined. (Groups may join one or more discussions.) So we were able to move the Discussions button off the left hand menu and put it at the top of the group pages as an option along with Info, List and Invite.
So now the left hand menu normally has only the Groups button and is much less confusing to new users. I think we are gaining on the usability front.
Next up, sub-groups, so committees can screen off their deliberations from those who don't really want to be in the know at that level of detail.
