In todays meeting, we established that Savanna was at Casa De Las Madres communicating with representatives and possible speakers for the March 8th event.
Also, I have completed and posted letters through snail mail to organizations I bleive would be excellent endorsements for our cause in hopes of raising funds.
Roger will be attending a womens event tomorrow in downtown and this could be an oppourtunity to gain more contacts. Two things we can do to promote at the event:
1. Bring IWD fliers and set them down in a place were guests can see, or pass them out personally.
2. Write down the names of individuals and names of organizaitons that are involved in the event so we will possibly contact them later.
I will not be able to attend the event because of work. If there are any interns that can help Roger please contact either me or him. I am aware that you must have tickets to be able to enter the show. However, it would still be helpfull to have an intern there to pass outfliers outside.
