The UN 70th Committee now has its own subgroup on InterMix - you are welcome to join. Just click the "Subgroups" button at the top of the online list of COO messages and you will see how to participate in UN 70th discussions online. Ditto for the Core Collaborators.
Please mark your calendars. Everyone is welcome to all three events. It is your participation that will bring us success.
UN 70th Committee will meet Wednesday, March 26, 6:00pm in the Kincaid Room at Unitarian Universalist Church at 1187 Franklin St., San Francisco, CA 94109. Please bring your own supper or potluck for six or let me know to bring something for you: Roger Eaton rogerweaton@gmail.com. Agenda: 1) delegation to Charlotte Schulz and 2) UN 69th at UU? 3) Is an NGO conference for UN 70th feasible? - how do we get moving on that? and more.
Core Collaborators will meet April 15, 6:00 PM. Venue is not decided yet. This meeting was previously scheduled for April 8 and has been moved because there was a conflict with a UNA NorCal conference call that will be discussing amongst other items UN 70th. On the April 15th agenda, we will continue our discussion about structure. Also Post-2015 Millenium Goals will be discussed as a major follow-on to our UN 70th efforts. COO General Assembly will meet May 8, doors open at 5:30. Meeting begins at 6:00, Unitarian Universalist Church at 1187 Franklin St., San Francisco, CA 94109. More information will be coming. Please be sure to add this to your calendar now.
