This is going out to the UN 70th subgroup. We have six or seven people coming to the meeting - plenty enough to have a good discussion and hopefully put together an action plan, or the beginnings of one anyway.
UN 70th Committee will meet Wednesday, March 26, 6:00pm in the Kincaid Room at Unitarian Universalist Church at 1187 Franklin St., San Francisco, CA 94109. Please bring your own supper or potluck for six or let me know to bring something for you: Roger Eaton rogerweaton@gmail.com.
Agenda: 1) delegation to Charlotte Schulz and 2) UN 69th at UU? 3) Is an NGO conference for UN 70th feasible? - how do we get moving on that? What else? Please use our InterMix subgroup to add your ideas to the agenda. I am thinking 4) Get the library moving on a historical display for UN 70th. That seems relatively easy and will give us something to mention to Charlotte Schulz when we see her.
UNA NorCal has a scheduled conference call the evening of April 8th and UN 70th will feature on that call. Herb Behrstock has suggested we (COO UN 70th Committee) have a conference call before the April 8th call to get our suggestions in order. Herb cannot make it to our upcoming March 26th meeting. Please if anyone is comfortable being conference call host, let us know. I will take it if need be, but would rather have someone else take the lead for the call.
