Hi All,
I participated yesterday in a conference call with Gus Feissel, Rita Maran, Herb Behrstock, Melinda Howard-Herrarte, Rashida Haveliwala and Paul Clarke. Part of the conversation was about UN 70th. I have to say there was some question about our moving ahead without having checked with UNA NorCal first. I have promised we will start including UNA NorCal in our communications - and will be copying a link to this message in the NorCal group. Also Herb suggested strongly that we need to prioritize our list of possible events. Rita also thought we should have something definite before going to City Hall.
I also said we would share our one-pager with UNA-NorCal before we take it to City Hall and before our next meeting on April 16th, so we could take NorCal suggestions into account in our meeting. Altogether the conference call was positive and I think that UNA NorCal will be a great partner as we go forward.
InterMix has a neat feature where we can bring multiple groups into a shared discussion. I will set up a UN 70th shared discussion between our SF Bay COO group and the InterMix UNA NorCal group. More when that shared discussion is available.
