This is going out to the Core Collaborators subgroup.
We will be having a general COO meeting May 8th at the Unitarian Universalist Church located at 1187 Franklin St, San Francisco, CA 94109 (Franklin and Geary) in the Martin Luther King Room. Doors open at 5:30. Meeting begins at 6:00, ends at 8:00, doors close at 8:30. Please bring potluck.
With the help of a few, I will be doing individual outreach for the meeting to those on our list and also to new contacts. Please send me the contact information for people you know who might want to attend or even better, contact them yourself.
The meeting plan is where I need advice. Here is what I have:
a) Larry Danos will speak for 10 minutes about UU UNO.
b) If Pablo Castro is available, he will speak for 10 minutes about UNA-SF. If Pablo is not available, then Eliz and I will speak for 5 minutes each.
c) We will be seated at separate tables and each table will take 40 minutes for each person to talk about their organization and how it might play into our COO plans, especially for UN 70th.
d) We will break into four tables that represent work-teams: 1) UN 69th; 2) outreach; 3) general meetings team to handle our bimonthly meeting; 4) fundraising team to discuss the possibility of a big UN 69th event at the Fairmont on Oct 24, 2014.
Should we have music - acoustic guitar as background? Do we have someone who would volunteer? How can we spice the meeting up?
Please let me know your thoughts soonest.
