The relevant part of our application says that even without the grant, we will pursue UN 69 and UN 70th!

I feel it was worth the effort anyway.  Here is the main paragraph of the notice I received:

"Thank you for taking the time to submit a proposal to the Bay Area Impact Challenge. We were so impressed by the high quality of applications we received, and unfortunately had to make some tough decisions in narrowing down the pool. We wanted to let you know that the project submitted by your organization was not selected as a one of the 25 Finalists."
