Our UN 69th Anniversary Celebration is taking shape very well. Now we need to get to work on it. Please join the committee at this meeting. We should be able to overflow the room.
In outline, the UN 69th Celebration will be Sunday October 19th at the Starr King room in the Unitarian Universalist Church at 1187 Franklin St in San Francisco. There will be a lunch with a keynote speaker followed by break out sessions at round tables where people are already seated. Each table will be labeled with the topic of its breakout session and will have a topic leader assigned. The theme of the Celebration will be Human Rights.
The Keynoter has not been settled on yet - if you have ideas please post or email. One topic has been decided for sure: The Intersection of Climate Change and Human Rights. Please post more ideas.
