I had some concern about Shannon Biggs speaking to us with an international focus.  What she has been involved with is trying to halt the spread of fracking in communities in southern California and in the Great Valley.  Being a lawyer she works with those communities to draft resolutions to prohibit fracking within their boundaries.  She may have an international expertise that would make her perfect for us but I believe that should be vetted a bit.

Also I have a draft flyer for us to think about for this event and would like to attach it here but I don't see a way to do that.
