Glad to see you jump in here. Savannah was an undergrad intern with UNA-SF from the International Relations Department at San Francisco State University. She and a couple other interns planned an International Women's Day (IWD) event to be held the week of March 8th on the Campus, but just a couple weeks before the event, the room was pre-empted by the school. The Science Building had been found to have lead in the pipes and other problems, so all classes were moved to wherever they could be accomodated. We never were able to find a place to hold the event - no fault of Savannah's.
(Savannah, if you receive this, please give us a word on InterMix just to let us know if you would be interested to try it again next year.)
I would love to see coordinated IWD events around the world in conjunction with our Gender Crosstalk discussion.
