UN Association SF Women's Committee (WC) & FRIENDS!
Our last meeting per se was end of May, and we had a mixer with WIN & NOW at the end of July.
In August I gave my first keynote/paid speech for Church Women United and attended WIN's Women's Equality Day event with WC members.
In September I spoke live on a webinar for WIN, gave another speech for International Day of Peace, and also served as Senior Policy Adviser for Model United Nations.
I would like to go over the above events (much of which had a special focus on WIN's Cities for CEDAW), as well as talk about the future of WC. After three years, I was laid off recently at my 9-5 job and am now seeking to go perm at a prestigious law firm only Fri-Sun. This opens me up to pursue the nonprofit dream. Let's discuss who's on board in that regard, and I'd love to hear what *YOU* have been up to as well...!
