Dear Members of United Nations Association San Francisco:
I hope you are enjoying the new year and things are going well for you.
We have started a new year with our chapter. The year 2015 is and will be significant as we expect to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the United Nations with exciting events. UNA-SF has started the planning and creation of several and different programs to honor the very important date of October 24. I would very much enjoy your active participation in these activities and contributions with ideas and leadership. It will take a great team to have a successful celebration.
In the meantime, I would like to invite you to our annual membership meeting at the end of February, where we will report on our 2014 activities, the prospective plans for this year’s activities and, of course, we will be electing our new Board of Directors. Please make plans to attend.
The meeting should take place Saturday, February 28 at 2:00 PM, and we should be finished at about 5:00 PM. We will have this event at one of our familiar venues, the Fort Mason complex by the Marina in San Francisco in room 205 of building C.
I want to thank you for your support and interest in the affairs of United Nations and UNA-SF. We are trying to work hard on making the world a little better by believing in the UN mission and its important work that transpires around the world.
Please be well, be in touch and RSVP.
