The primary value of the Belief Manual is that it allows for demonstration of increasing agreement to a basic ethical philosophy for our species. That is different from one person after another giving his or her comments not necessarily related to what has been said before. Each person developing his or her own Belief Manual can actually see how many agree or disagree with each of his or her own beliefs, and anyone in the world can see how many people agree or disagree with the stated beliefs. (Each belief can be "voted on" by anyone participating.) But one does have to explore how the Belief Manual works, by clicking on the various buttons at the top. The yellow "ASK" buttons clarify everything, but people have to click and read, so it does take a little effort to see the complexity and ultimate value of the Belief Manual. And of course the Belief Manual only has value if more and more people participate, and that is a slow process, at least at first. Maybe it will never happen, but trying is better than not trying, I believe. The value of success will be enormous; without success we continue as we are....
