Hi Bill,
I don't see where you err in any of the particulars in your writeup at https://humanianity.com/humanianity/humhome.php?_menu=3. Those are at least some of the problems we face. But I remain optimistic that we can find a way around the difficulties and that once VoH takes off, we will achieve a massive movement for human unity fairly quickly, giving us a much better chance of coming up with detailed solutions that will find global agreement.
Our success will marginalize all the hardliners. As you might say, the hardliners being those who cannot agree with each other, and the rest of us, a great majority, being those who think we can agree. The trick (or end-run in football terms) that can make it work is that the Voices of Humanity process will give a voice to each of the nations and religions, reinforcing those collective identities, but within a larger framework of human unity. People who love their nations and religions, which is most of us, need not fear weakening those bonds.
I am leaning how to use Zoom - if you are willing, we could take half an hour to discuss in person with that new technology.
All the best, -- Roger
