Paul Hawken has put together a great New York Times bestseller, Drawdown, The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming. See http://drawdown.org. For an excellent review including a fascinating interview with Hawken, see https://www.vox.com/energy-and-environment/2017/5/10/15589038/top-100-solutions-climate-change-ranked. Drawdown provides details on 100 ways to reduce CO2. The idea of drawdown is to aim for the earliest possible year when we begin to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere. This goal gives us a way to compare all the possibilities for CO2 reduction. A Drawdown Two from Hawken is in the works adding possibilities of a more speculative nature for drawing down CO2.
VoH can help with the Drawdown plan to reverse global warming. The big picture is too much atmospheric CO2, but each of the top 100 Drawdown solutions is its own universe of sub-issues. How do we keep the big picture in mind while focusing on the details? That is what Voices of Humanity technology can do for us with its ability to create a unity that supports diversity.
It makes sense that we should add Drawdown as a new VoH community. VoH technology will soon be implementing bottom up networking. That networking capability will give us the structure to break out the Drawdown solutions, each into its own sub-community under the overall Drawdown label.
Our bottom up networking will support a reticulated hierarchy of issues. What that means is that a particular issue may feed into more than one higher level issue. Thus education for girls and women is one of the Drawdown solutions, but it is also part of a larger gender equality issue and a larger education issue. VoH will handle it.
