For those looking at specific actions they can take to move us more to thinking gobally about our ethics, I encourage them to explore the Humanian Belief Manual.  Anyone anywhere can contribute his or her ideas, and anyone anywhere can see such contributions and agree/disagree, so that anyone anywhere can see how much agreement there is with such ideas.

This Manual is still just a newborn.  I think it has great potential. A good description of the concept is here.
