Two events I'm involved with and would advocate for:

1) Interfaithmarch.com  A nationwide march for peace and social justice occuring on Apr 29th, 2018.

2) apieceofpizzaforpeace.org A nationwide conciousness & fund raising event held yearly on Sept 21st, the International Day of Peace.

Both these events involve the universal need, desire, and support of peace-which IMHO goes hand-in-hand with nuclear disarmament, income equality, social equality, gender equality, etc.-while at the same time being applicable locally, regionally, and nationally.
