The negatives are awesome, but we do have a lot going for us. Human intelligence, ingenuity and compassion are at or near all time highs and the women's movement continues to build strength.
If we build on our strengths then we may yet bring the world together under a common social contract (thank you, Bill) and some kind of global global government (thank you, Bob) that understands we have our place within the web of life, not above it.
People do give a damn! My opinion, Ercel! But there is no clear avenue for concerted action so long as the nations bristle with nuclear weapons, so I do think we need to keep nuclear disarmament as a near term goal.
Voices of Humanity is continuing to be developed. We are working on getting the community structure in place. Then the full moon to full moon action cycle will give us a way to agree on concerted global action. Meanwhile an app for nuclear disarmament is being developed and a second app to give voice to the Plants and Animals of the world is on the drawing board. Understanding that we are imbedded in the web of life is hugely important for the development of human unity.
