Small Arms and Light Weapon (SALW) is a very serious issue all over the world. As the small arms and light weapons is critical issue in Pakistan also. Organization for peace development (OPD) has started an awareness campaign on SALW issue in order to promote a culture of peace and social harmony among all the sects.
On May 11, 2018 an awareness seminar was arranged with secondary school students at St. Anthony’s High School Lahore cantt by Organization for peace development (OPD). Mr. Shakeel Earnest (Vice President of OPD ), Mrs Tahira Naz Earnest (General Secretary OPD), Mrs Huma Ambrose (Vice Principal St. Anthony’s High School), Mrs. Farzana Rafaqat, Tr. Anita Sulman (Senior Teacher), Iqbal Khokhar (Chief Editor of awami mohabbat), Rashid Lala (Sub Editor of awami mohabbat) and 55 Secondary school students had participated in the program.
