Men: Please do something about the sexism in this world. Every time you refer to women as a body part or sex as f---ing, share posts of scantily clad women, etc., it hurts us. Even if you hear women using the same language or think they like the adoration, it contributes to our exploitation. You should tell us that instead of joining in. We need for your conscience to be shocked, even if ours isn't. Think of how these seemingly small issues lead to a gang rape, for example. Today I heard of a TEENAGER who was making her way home from a gang rape and was gang-raped again! Think of how women struggle with sexual pleasure -- then think about how sexual violence against women increases. It matters where you live and it matters where you don't live. It's all connected. Please.
