Dear Friends and Members of the Voices of Humanity URI CC,
As a member of the Voices of Humanity URI Cooperation Circle, you are invited to the Tuesday July 30th 100% Zoom Call for World Friendship Day. On the call, I will give a brief overview of where I see VoH CC going and make an ask of the Multiregion for support. There will also be break-out rooms on various topics, including nuclear disarmament. Time: Jul 30, 2019 07:00 PM India / 6:30 AM, Pacific Time, USA Further details about how to connect will be sent by email.
The next big step for Voices of Humanity will be the introduction of “Together and Apart” (T&A) collective conversations between the nations. I am thinking we will begin with a conversation between Iran and the USA, but URI has more connections in Pakistan and India. Would it make sense to begin with an T&A conversation between India, Iran, Pakistan and the U.S. instead? Your advice would be most welcome. A full write-up on T&A is available here. By the end of the year we should have interfaith collective conversations as well.
Before the end of the year, I hope to have a meeting to decide on a seconday contact for our CC. As you may recall, Rev Leland Stewart who was our secondary passed away last year. He is missed!
Hope you can make it on Tuesday,
--Roger Eaton

Dr Shiv Talwar of the Spiritual Heritage Education Network, a URI CC, has asked me to forward information about a Conference to Co-envision and Co-create Education to Cultivate Unity in Diversity for September 28, 2019 - 08:00 to September 29, 2019 - 17:30 in Ontario, Canada. Here are the details: http://spiritualeducation.org/work/conf2019.
Voices of Humanity <-- In the conversation between the communities of Planet Earth, women and men will use their collective voices to persuade the nations to cooperate. A kindly and intelligent human unity with gender equality (and diversity) built-in is ours for the taking!!! Your participation could make the difference.
Book of Job - Order Out of Chaos - translated by Roger Eaton as a play. Great story. Great poetry.
