Thanks Roger. The sequence of SCAN, FOCUS and ACT can be applied at virtually any scale. In my observation, is generally missing in the environmental-progressive movement.

Groups like MAHB, for example, are great at academic analysis. But they have no unified focus, and the people who post on MAHB usually have no organized way to act on any suggestions they may put forward. I have never seen one.

When I assess the current situation (= part of SCAN), it is clear to me that no organization on its own can have much influence, and that we need an aligned FOCUS.
