I am still working towards persuading San Francisco City Hall to establish a UN Goals Advisory Committee. My contacts so far with aides to Board Supervisors are positive. If we can build a coalition to push for it, the Board of Supervisors is very likely to establish the committee. Not just the SDGs, but all the goals of the UN. I am convinced that without disarmament, we cannot get the cooperation we need between the nations. Permaculture will require government support to get started in a big way as is needed, I believe. So I think I am on the right track to involve first the cities and then the nations. There has to be the kind of funding only governments can supply.
