Dear friends of VOH,
Greetings of love, peace, and joy.
I take this opprotunity to bring it to your kind knoledge that we have had a zoom meeting today which was arranged by Roger Eaton.
The propsoed agenda for the meeting was as follow:
1) Do we begin with an India / Pakistan conversation or do we begin with a conversation between all the nuclear powers?
2) Sowmya suggests we schedule for Aug 14-15. Hiroshima was Aug 6 and Nagasaki was Aug 9.
3) Should we use WhatsApp to bring in more people to a core group?
4) I have a lot of Facebook Pakistani "friends". Is it OK to reach out to them?

There were several participants who confirmed to participate in today's zoom meeting; but due to certain reason they could not participate. The active participants waited for 15 minutes for other participants.
Hence, it was decided to arrange that zoom meeting next month before or on the Hiroshima or Naganaski day. It was also unanimously decided that we should invite participants from nulear powers and rest of the countries and to develop a such resolution/mechanism to raise our voice to the world in regard to stop the proliferation of atomic bombs and small arms.
It was also decided that VOH should publish a news letter to address the impact of nuclear weapons on mankind and all living beings. The VOH members will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings regarding peace building, nuclear weapons, Social and Interfaith/communal and its effetivesness in the universe we share.
