Hello Roger et al,
I am a peace activist and believe peace is the most important global issue. U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres issued a call for a Global Cease-Fire. Guterres's one act is the most profound and important global actions because stopping war affects all issues! A new global peace movement is planned called a Global Movement of Nonviolence, For the Children (GMofNV). A GMofNV is the perfect follow-up plan and strength to sustain and perpetuate the Cease-Fire. Everyone will be asked to unite to promote the cease-fire!
This is what people want - NO VIOLENCE. It is time to “harness the power” of nonviolence to create trust and respect between nations and people and create the atmosphere to re-allocate military spending - which is what everyone wants.
A GMofNV is a people movement designed to "Reach into Every Household" by asking WOMEN to lead the way! If we want something different, we have to commit to something different. It will not be easy, but what better way than to promote a humanitarian effort and people promoting no violence.
