Fortunately, Cropsey's opinions are not those of the current U.S. administration. I do agree that nuclear weapons will probably lead to nuclear war, and maybe even in the short run, so your conclusions about unifying the human race to get rid of nukes is right on target:
"I don’t know what our unifying goal will be. I hope it has something to do committing to regenerating our planet, living in harmony with Life, not focusing on death."
