I have long followed and supported the San Francisco Forest Alliance: https://sfforest.org as it struggled unsuccessfully against a city plan to cut thousands of trees in fear of fire and to remove non-native trees (eucalyptus).

I have long followed and supported the San Francisco Forest Alliance: https://sfforest.org as it struggled unsuccessfully against a city plan to cut thousands of trees in fear of fire and to remove non-native trees (eucalyptus). Obviously it is complicated, but when I looked into the matter, I became convinced the fear of fire and the anti-non-native angles were overblown.
