The Urban SDG Finance Commission was launched in June of 2023 under the aegis of the UN's Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). Well known global activist Jeff Sachs is a co-chair. 

This development may well be helpful in the Voices of Humanity SF UN Goals project. Whereas the SDSN global cities project is top down and excludes nuclear disarmament as a goal, SF UN Goals will be a bottom up project that very much does include nuclear disarmament. Two very different projects, but still, the SF UN Goals project will be able to build on many of the links created by the SDSN project.
