Hi Roger and All Here And There!
As you can see, being a 'Newbie" I saw the "Please Read" and thought that the IWD was being planned now... maybe for the fall or winter, 2014...
Yet, it is a very good idea to host these events... or to promote them via our email lists and Facebook. It is not too early to begin to plan, and as you know when a Good Idea is put out there, it gathers folks and builds energy by itself.
So are there any of us that would like to be on a special committee dedicated to beginning a dialogue on promoting IWD events that are already in process, or creating local IWD events?

Yet, if you look there is no unifying ONE. Check out Washington, DC... there are two events that happened last March, but no BIG movement... with invitations to women and men throughout the US that would bring thousands together to march for women's equality and perhaps end up at the UN.... ??? Just a thought ...
