Sorry to have to do this, but it is best if we cancel our Nov 13th joint COO/UN 70th evening meeting at the UU Church this coming Thursday. I hope to reschedule in early December.
We need to wait to hear the outcome of my request to the UNA-SF Board that we set up a bank account for the use of the COO / UN 70th efforts. There was to have been a UNA-SF Board meeting Wednesday Nov 12 where the bank account would have been approved (or not), but that board meeting has been postponed until Nov 19.
I will be in touch again after the Nov 19th Board meeting with news of how the request for a separate COO bank account went and with a suggested new date for our meeting.
The UN 70th Committee is now expected to meet separately in the East Bay on a weekend also in early December.
Sorry for the inconvenience for those who made plans to attend this coming Thursday evening.
