I don't fully comprehend, Parabanger, but a VoH connection with Twitter (and Facebook) is a clearly a good idea.
Once the simplification of VoH is complete, then the next phase will be to a) publish highly rated Voices of Humanity messages via both Twitter and Facebook, and b) allow authors to share their VoH posts on their own Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Might you be persuaded to spec out that 3rd party app you mention, so we can see more exactly what it will do?
