Re: Share Your Sparkle

Hi Bill,

> There may be other parts of the HOME page that would be good to post here on your site.  If so, please let me know.

You are welcome to post here, Bill. One idea would be to create a "Humanianity" community (See below for details how to do that. I will join and over time perhaps you could bring in others who are interested. Please read the Creative Customs tag at the bottom - we are using the same rule that the wikipedia uses: - ok to reuse whatever is posted here so long as you link back to the original and do not claim to have support of the original author for your repost.

I've often wished we lived 400 years and could use the other 320 as free time. I would definitely read your site through, but as it is, I cannot commit to more than an occasional dip there.

About humanity as a person in its own right, I rather think we will gradually develop a feel for humanity based on the overall winning messages, more clearly as participation grows. Since we are giving humanity a voice here, as its pronouncements month by month provide a history, it is going to be harder and harder not to posit a personality behind the words. Myself I am convinced that personality is going to be one we can be proud of: generous, intelligent and with sparkle (!-). Already we have a wonderful picture from Diana Shrestha, who made the icons we are using for the six voices of humanity. Awesome and very likable!

Best to you, -- Roger

To create your own community, go to "Me & My Friends". Then click "Settings" then find the spot where you can type the name of your community and "Add" it.  Down the road we will be adding features so you can have a description and you can be moderator. For now it will just have to be barebones.
