Agreed wholeheartedly . Permaculture is definitely a design tool to assist greatly with this . May I ask that this group starts, if it hasn't already, engaging with permaculture and learning its holistic application.

May I ask that this group starts, if it hasn't already, engaging with permaculture and learning its holistic application . Geoff Lawton has an excellent free site with videos exploring and explaining permaculture.  Just search for Geoff Lawton.  Permaculture has already been proven to work (it has greened desert and the UN acknowledges and approves of it), creates abundance and, most importantly, it emulates and works with the natural world without harming to support human habitation.
